The Monore County Vietnam War memorial is located on the grounds of the Monroe County Courthouse in Bloomington. The memorial is a short walk through built into the side of the grounds so that one enters from about street-level. The main memorial is a concrete wall into which are etched the names of those who gave their lives. It includes uplighting for nighttime and a small POW/MIA plaque is located across from the etched wall. On the outside as one enters on either end is a beautifully landscaped area with flowers and shrubs and the plaque from the dedication.
