This large rock memorial on Ford Island was the original memorial placed at Pearl Harbor to remember the loss of the USS Arizona that was destroyed and sunk by a Japanese bomb on December 7, 1941. The marker was placed on this spot by the Navy Club of America in 1955The small white concrete and brass plaque marker notes the location of the original berth Fox 7 at which the Arizona was moored on that fateful day.
