Two gray monuments at Paris High School honor former Lamar County men who died while serving in World War II and Vietnam. The World War II marker was erected in 1956 at the old high school and honors the students of Paris High School who gave their lives. The second marker remembers those from Lamar County who died serving in Vietnam. Those who attended Paris schools are marked with a dot. Small paved pathways lead to each marker.
