This gray granite marker marked the spot in Muscogee where local volunteers from the town and Oklahoma Territory were sworn in to serve as volunteers in Roosevelt's Rough Riders. The enlistees names and the judge who swore them in are listed. The marker was moved to the Muscogee War Memorial Park in 1976 when its original location at the local depot became in accessible to the public.
